There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

CHRISTMAS EVE 2012

CHRISTMAS EVE 2012
Christmas Eve morning is devoted to Benjamin's birthday.  After lunch, we start the Christmas part of Christmas Eve!
First, we made our button ornaments -- a wreath out of red and green buttons. Even Mason could make his own this year!

Of course, Louie is always there to join in the fun.

 The next tradition is to make cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning.

Last but not most important -- we set out treats and a note for Santa!
Mason was a big help putting out the reindeer food on the 
front walkway!
