OLD FORT MADISON AND THE MISSISSIPPI
AUGUST 2, 2013
On our free morning, we went to explore the "Old Fort Madison" and walk along the Mississippi River. The fort looked cool but was really expensive so we chose to walk around it then sit in the pavilion and have dad read to us about its history. :) We sure enjoyed our play at the park and
playing in the Mississippi River.

We watched it open and let a barge through!
