HYRUM, SOD, TOMATOES, PEPPERS AND TREES!
This morning Hyrum left for Ohio for his grand adventure.
Rachel and David helped me pick up a pallet of Bermuda Sod. This was a bit of an adventure since I broke the clip off the tongue of the trailer while "rimmy jigging" it to the tractor mower to haul enormous rocks the other day! We got the trailer on the van and then used the chains to secure it so it wouldn't bounce off. Then I drove very slow, checking many times to make sure it didn't bounce off and drag behind the van!
The kids worked outside hauling topsoil while I slept all afternoon -- I feel like I have been hit by a train!
A head cold in the summer is no fun!
We planted our tomatoes, bell peppers -- they really needed to get in the ground!
