With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

OCTOBER 12, 2013: SCHOOL, LUNCH OUT, AND THE DOWNPOUR

SCHOOL, LUNCH OUT, AND THE DOWNPOUR
October 12, 2013

This morning we slept in a bit, but then had breakfast, exercised, and let the kids swim while I worked with Mason -- he didn't want to swim.  We are so excited that they came and put a router in our room!!!  Yahoo!  We have fast internet connection!

Rachel started out sharing a bed with Bethany, but since Rachel is such a very "active" sleeper, she got moved to my bed!  Rachel likes to roll up with the blanket and many pillows around her.  If you don't hold on, she rolls and turns and ends up stealing all the blankets!  If you try to move her in the night, she snaps at you!!! Watch out!!!!


















After we dried and dressed, we headed out for a walk to find lunch!  Vernon had showed me a McDonald's that was close by so I surprised the kids!  We decided, however, to go for a small restaurant nearby and share entrees!  It was fun!
