With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

We finally caved in.
We have had a big dinosaur TV for the past 8 years -- and when the first "dinosaur" died, we replaced it with an exact copy!  It was in bad shape and needed repair.  We didn't have a remote for it and the picture was not formatted right so everything we watched, the 1/4 of the picture was chopped off -- which means most everyone on the TV was headless.
Vernon found a 'smart TV' for a good price and off he went.
He was said many times, "If I had realized how good the picture could be, I would have talked us into this sooner!!!"
With our new enormous beanbags and our 55" flat screen we are ready for some great movie nights!!!

Dad measured and measured -- he was right on and the TV fit snug and perfect without a 1/4" to spare!!!!
