With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

With girls' camp coming up, we decided to try out a new trick!!!
We cooked bacon and eggs in a paper lunch sack on our
"Hobo Stoves!"  It was pretty fun and worked fairly well!
 

 

See the brown square on the side of the can?  That is the toast cooking!





 Dad and Daniel work to light our tuna can candle but the wind made it difficult!

 "Viola!"  Egg and bacon!


 Rebecca was determined!!!
