With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

TURKEY LEG AS BIG AS YOUR HEAD!

Late last December, Dad found a screaming deal on 
turkey -- .50 per pound!  
He purchased 28 turkeys that we stuffed in our freezer!!! On Saturday, we bought 240 pounds of meat to can and we decided we should do some of the turkey as well.  We cooked 2 turkeys this weekend.
One for Sunday dinner, again, and another to bone and can.  David and Rachel asked for the turkey legs and sure enjoyed their treat!   Louie, our dog, always likes turkey day because he gets to eat the yummy skin!
