With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

MAY 6, 2013 -- CANDYLAND OR BUST!!

Mason sure gained a liking for his big brother Hyrum over the past couple of weeks!!  He loved to hang out with Hyrum, watch him play the Wii, and especially play Candy Land with Hyrum -- as long as Mason was winning!!!
As one game was getting set up, Hyrum was looking at something else and Mason set up the cards and then started looking in the card pile for "Queen Frostine" and made sure she was the top card on the pile.  Hyrum saw what was happening and said, "Hey Mason!  How about I go first this time!"  Mason was distraught!!!!!  "No!!!!!" he exclaimed!!!
Hyrum let Mason go first and Mason was thrilled to quickly go to the end of the path and close to winning!!!  We decided that learning to be a good sport about losing is something we will work on in the future!!
We love you Mason!!!
