There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

SEPTEMBER 8-15, 2014 -- DAILY LIFE

A DOSE OF DAILY LIFE
September 8-15, 2014

In our new home with a new schedule, Amy and I had to create a new way to organize our kiddos and the house chores, etc.  Look what we came up with!  We had the very large banner created at a local banner shop for just a few dollars.  Off we go in our organizing project!

All filled in with jobs!

The kids were "surprised" when they came home!

David and Daniel thought it was cool!

Richard wants to learn to cook so he was watching Amy use her creative way to roast peppers for our mexican dinner.

Hair cuts are always necessary.  This stool has passed it prime, but it is still used in the local barber shop.  No wheels left, but it is has some "sit" left in it.

The ride outside the shop is way more fun than the shopping!

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are a bit expensive BUT chocolate with
peanut butter is available!

We saw an ODD thing down our street.  These folks were dressed in black, marched down the road, burned some stuff on the side of the road as well as their black cloaks.  It was just weird.  It really just gave me a creepy feeling.
