There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

2013 JULY -- REHEARSING STICK BALL GAME

REHEARSAL THE STICK BALL GAME
JULY 2013

The boys were part of a really fun scene where we depict the fun that Joseph Smith loved to have with the children.  The kids portrayed a stick ball game!!  Mason go to be "2nd Base" and David got to be the batter and then run the bases and then JUMP up into Joseph's arms!!  It was such a fun thing for David!
I was able to be on stage in a "sewing circle" and watched the whole thing!
It was really fun!
Mason as "2nd Base"
A fun change we saw in Mason is that we went from a little boy who didn't want to even try on his costume or participate but just wanted to play on Dad's phone to a a 5 year old who kept up with the other boys, went to and from his places on stage, sang songs, and had a great time!

Daniel was part of the scene!  He had other special parts!
David ready as "Parley" coaches another child!
"Run David!"
