With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

FAMILY RANDOMNESS AND TIDBITS

This post is in an effort to also remember everyday life.

Amy and Mom have both had a chance to go to a bulk food store called Metro.  Amy took some pictures to remember her adventure!

We tried some sweet potato noodles!  David loved slurping the LONG noodles!



More cooking adventures with Amy!!  She loves to cook and we love to let her!

Mango Smoothies are the best!

Buying meat is a new adventure here in China!  Don't worry, they wash off that meat (which has sat out for who knows how long) so any dirt or "fly eggs" that might be there are washed off.  We don't buy it if it looks really dried. :)  What is amazing is that there are NOT flies around!  It is quite baffling.

We got a "new" bike -- a hand me down from the Chens.
Our calendar transformed, by Bethany, to Chinese characters.  
No more Arabic numerals in this house!
