WET MARKET EDUCATION
MAY 27-28, 2014
The young women are working on a value project together where they are learning how to go to the wet market and buy their vegetables in Chinese and then will learn to make dumplings. Bethany is in charge of the first part which is teaching the girls how to say the veggies in Chinese. She went with Sister Messick and Amy Lee, her YW leaders, to the wet market and learned the names of the vegetables.
Then a couple of days later, all the girls went to the market and Bethany taught them the names of the vegetables and how to say the names, how to ask the names and also how to ask how much they cost.
