There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

MAY 3, 2014: GOGODA, MACARONS FOR MASON, AND the 3 D's ARRIVE

GOGODA, MACARONS, AND the 3 D's ARRIVE
MAY 3, 2014

We had a few more things to buy to prepare for Dad, Daniel and David to arrive tonight.  We took our second trip to Wal-Mart -- another big one.  We barely got it into the taxi, but we made it!

For lunch, we took the older kids out to eat once more before the little boys came.  We had a great time!
Some Hot Pot
Chow Mien Noodles -- here you say "chow mee-en"
These sweet potato fries with plum powder are delicious!!!

Mason likes the sweet potato fries!

Bethany and Amy like trying the new foods!
A Curry Dish

Mason saw some "macarons" at the EuroMart and talked about them for a whole week.  I told him we could get him one, so I paid 8 RMB for his 1 green macaron and he was so, so excited and ate it up.  He learned about Macarons on Pokemon.  I thought Melissa would love to know he likes Macarons!

DAD, DANIEL AND DAVID ARRIVED!
We tried so hard to give them a big welcome, but the driver brought them into a different entrance and they ended up on the opposite side of our building and --- oh well, Dad actually came and found us.  We tried!
We are so glad they made it!!!
