There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

APRIL 25, 2013: ALISON'S BYU GRADUATION

ALISON'S BYU GRADUATION

APRIL 25, 2013

Wow!  Who would have ever thought that we would actually be old enough to have a child graduate from college!!!   We are so proud of Alison!!!  She has completed her BS in Dietetics in a very rigorous program.  She was one of 40 students accepted to the program 2 years ago.  She has also finished this past 9 months of school during her pregnancy and graduated just 2 weeks before her little girl's due date!!!  Go Alison!!!  Thank you Robert for supporting her!!!

 Alison's dietetics group

Most of Alison's classes were in the Eyring Science Center

Alison's first semester in the Dietetics Program, she worked at the "Pendulum Court" and it was a busy semester, but she learned so much and did enjoy it!

Robert and Alison -- a good team!
Sorry I caught you with eyes closed Robert.

While Dad and I attended the Dietetics reception and program with
Robert and Alison, Melissa and her friend Stephanie took the kids to hike
"Y Mountain."  They were actually up on the top edge of the "Y" on the right if you can view the picture close enough!
Thanks Melissa!!!

Alison graduated "magna cum laud" which means she was in the top 3% of her graduating class.  That means lots of hard work, studying and lots of A's on her report card!!!

Rebecca loved the mountains!
and had to have a picture with her arms in a "Y"

Celebration lunch afterwards at Robert and Alison's apartment.
Double Decker Tacos with chips and salsa!
