A MORNING AT THE TEMPLE
APRIL 26, 2013
What a beautiful day and a dream come true for parents.
We were able to go with Melissa and Hyrum to the temple for their first time.
It was very moving to see them prepared for this important step in their lives.
They have made choices, difficult choices, through their youth and teen years to
keep themselves clean and worthy and also to
prepare themselves to receive the
the special ordinances, covenants and blessings of this day.
As we told them in the Celestial Room,
"You have lived your whole life thus far for this day!
What a glorious day!!
Enjoy the joy that you feel for working and accomplishing this goal!"
It was a treat to have our 3 oldest children in the temple.
Wow! We told them that we now all need to work together
to get everyone else here!!!
We are so blessed to have Robert as part of our eternal family!!!
He is such an amazing man and takes good care of Alison and will
be a wonderful Dad!!! We love you Robert!!!
Back at the ranch, or rather Robert and Alison's apartment,
the other kids did a great job
watching "Tangled" and eating popcorn
while we spent the morning in the temple.
