There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

AUGUST 2014 -- RANDOM STUFF

 RANDOM STUFF FROM LIFE
AUGUST 2014

Look what a sweet friend gave to Amy!!!  Cereal like this is over $5 a box!  Someone found it on a super sale and shared with Amy!!!  She had to hide it!

A sketch of a housing layout from a huge proposal that we put together, but then it was sort of a waste BUT we learned some things.

The kids made shirts at camp!  Can you guess what Rachel loves??
Rachel and her medals from camp
We took Benjamin out to dinner for a hamburger -- and to have a pep talk with him.  It was a decent hamburger but not nearly as good as Feltner Brothers!

An ice cream treat is always nice on a hot, humid day.
The bus that the kids ride 5 days a week to their camp.
Suzhou has lots of beautiful canals all over the city.

Mason got a haircut.  They called in someone special to cut his hair.

Mom was brave and got a perm!  Pretty tricky when you don't speak Chinese!

We went to get our hair cut.  The best part was the shampoo session.
Don't you love Amy's new "do" and style???
