With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

AUGUST 27, 2014 -- BETHANY'S BIRTHDAY



BETHANY'S BIRTHDAY #14

 Bethany has waited a whole year for this day!!!  So we had to celebrate big with #14!  What a great girl Bethany is!  We love her so, so much!
 What could this present be??
 She is excited!!!  She has been asking for a purse for a LONG time.
This one came from the Philipinnes and has been hidden for 2 months!!

 It is just like Amy's -- but the sweet thing is that purple is also Amy's favorite color, but Amy chose the red one so Bethany could have purple on her birthday!


With a big family and busy lives,  birthday's often last of a 2-3 day period.  Bethany doesn't mind because then the celebration just lasts longer.  We surprised Bethany with cupcakes that had a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup inside -- just like she wished for!!!  We had Dad bring them back from the USA.


 Bethany picked Mango ice cream --- her favorite!!!
