With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

CHINESE CLASS TIDBITS
JULY 2014

Chinese class is quite a shock for me.  I was put into the second level beginner class and it is overwhelming.  After total brain overload and emotional overload trying to understand the teacher who speaks totally in Chinese and then walking from the bus stop in the hot humid air a cold ice cream bar sounds really good.  We stopped off at the little store near our apartments and 
bought a few different varieties.

 Here is mom's Chinese textbook -- all in characters!
 Here is my homework which took me about 2 hours to do!!!
