With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

JUNE 22, 2014: THE ROCK IS GONE!

THE ROCK IS GONE

They have started construction near our apartment which has helped to answer the "missing trees" mystery.  They are digging up all the trees and are completely redoing this area around "The Pants Building."  We have found out that they are turning the road into an underground roadway and the "ground level" will all be a huge park.  The construction makes our walk to church eventful as we must go right through the heart of the construction!  Once we pass the construction, towards the church, there is a "round-a-bout" that has an enormous rock in the middle.  I love the rock and wish we had one at our house in Arkansas!!!  We watched them make attempts to remove this rock, but with no success.  Then one day it was gone.
