With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

JUNE 20, 2014 -- BEN'S CELEBRATION FOR HARD WORK

Tonight we had a bit of a celebratory date night.  Benjamin has worked so hard this week to catch up with school work.  He was self-motivated and work all day and evenings, too.  By Friday, he was all caught up and back on track.  To celebrate, we took him to Subway for a good sandwich!  He carried that over to the Xing Hai cafeteria place that we like and Amy, Vernon and I had Chinese food.   Afterwards, we had an ice cream cone from McDonalds for 5.5 RMB.
