With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

JUNE 25, 2014: RAINY DAY LUNCH

RAINY DAY LUNCH
JUNE 25, 2014
Well, it was raining today and we were having school. 
We decided to go out to lunch today even though it was raining.  Amy had found a restaurant on Brother Hiatt’s blog that he said was good.  She found it on the map and we loaded up on ebikes with our rain ponchos and headed off to find “The Green Dragon” restaurant.  We rode past the lake and past Times Square and finally found the restaurant.  We were all drenched!!!  It was pretty crazy!  We ate some delicious dumplings and tried a few other things.  Mason liked the French fries, of course.  








 We then rode back in the rain and arrived home even more drenched and with a lot of laughter!  We reminisced about the time in Panama when we went to lunch and a torrential rain came through and we ended up wading back to the hotel in water up well past our ankles and through rivers in the streets.   
Fun times!!!
