There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

JULY 5, 2014: SILK MUSEUM AND PAGODA -- part 1

SILK MUSEUM AND PAGODA -- part 1
JULY 5, 2014
This was basically our “last” free day together for several weeks as the kids are at the Day Camp at Blue Tassel School and Amy and I are in the intensive Chinese Class.   We headed off to visit the Suzhou Silk Museum.

We got on the bus and made an effort of follow our Google map but ended up missing our “get off point” so we ended up a little farther away than we intended.  We started walking and eventually figured out where to go.

......And we kept walking ......

 Walking the streets of China

 Mason is at 0% energy.

What is a "pay phone?"

 Brooms

These 2 girls were watching the family walk ahead of me and smiling and calling others to come and see all these American people!

More brooms

When you need a nap, you just take it!
