There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

SILK MUSEUM AND PAGODA -- part 2
JULY 5, 2014
We found a big pagoda just across the road from the Silk Museum and decided to explore it after the museum.

We found some good street food and had cantaloupe on a stick, 
corn on the cob on a stick, and a tortilla thing. 



 The kids LOVE these tortilla things.  We need to learn the name for them.





 



  We then found another shop that had bread and it was delicious!


 Delicious!!
 These were like fried hashbrowns but made with rice!
