There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

OCTOBER 26, 2012: A BUSY FRIDAY!

A BUSY FRIDAY!
OCTOBER 26, 2012

Dad was out of town for the day so that always puts me in the car doing the running. I started early with parent/teacher conferences, brought Ben's friend home with us for the day & night, I took the kids into Dr. Fleming's office for chiropractic adjustments, and then a run by Sam's Club.

Hyrum came home this weekend for the last FHS Band Performance at the football game. It is fun for all of us!!!  We have missed him!

This afternoon, we packed Matthew for his campout tonight where it is supposed to get down to 32 degrees!  Eeek!

Joseph got his "goodie bags" packed for the saxophone section and then Hyrum and Joseph left for a night of FHS band!!

Matthew got packed and left for the campout!

Benjamin, Bethany and Bates will be at the "Plan 9" performance at Arts Live Theater and then have the cast part afterwards!

David and I bundled up for the last home football game and were successful and staying warm!!!  With my Russian wool sweater, I was great!  David was good with 8 pairs of socks, 5 shirts, scarf, ear muffs, and more!  It was a great game and FHS ended up beating Har-Ber 38-21!  Go Bulldogs!
Dad will come home about 9pm and probably come to the high school and we will pick up the "3 Bs" at ALT at 9:45pm.

Home we will go to put on a "Nacho Bar" for a party -- of course there is a party because Hyrum is home!!!  Several of his friends are home from college this weekend so it will be lots of fun to see them!!!

Life is good with kids doing lots of good things!
