There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

HONK Jr. PERFORMANCES #2

We had another fun day.  We took Joseph, Benjamin and Bethany to the call for the matinee show today, Saturday.  We planned to go to the library but then realized that Mason had loaded himself into the van WITHOUT his shoes.  So --- we ran back home and got shoes and then back to the square.  We roamed the square first and ate our picnic lunches and then spent over an hour at the library.  It was quite nice!  I read through and prepared my Young Women's lesson that I am teaching tomorrow.

Eating lunch on the rocks by the little waterfall on "The Square."

We found a lady who was out walking the Farmer's Market at "The Square" and she had her 2 birds on her shoulder!!  They both were wearing "flight suits" to keep them from flying away and the "flight suits" were connected to lanyards so she could keep a hold of them.  The kids were able to pet the birds!  It was cool!

After the matinee show, Mom took a picture of the cast and then created these pictures for them.
We then went and ate dinner at Jason's Deli!!
