With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

MAY 5, 2012 -- SATURDAY

LOTS OF DIRT

Last week, someone started building a new house across from us and started making piles of dirt.
When we saw dump trucks arrive to haul it off, we started asking questions!  Today we were able to get 15 dump truck loads of good red dirt -- FOR FREE!!!  Yahoo!  This is in addition to the 4 loads we got last Saturday!  We have big plans for raising the shore of the pond and extending our sidewalk/pathway around the edge of the pond! We are excited!  It will take away the swamp problem that is currently there!  Pictures coming soon of the project in process!!


Mason loved watching the dump trucks come in and dump!!  He also found this rock and wanted a picture taken of it!

The Clematis is still in beautiful bloom!  Whenever I see pretty flowers now I think of Melissa!!!
