There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

MAY 4, 2012 -- PART 2

FPS ORCHESTRA CONCERT

We had a great orchestra concert!!  I was so proud of all of our orchestra students!  Rebecca, Bethany, Daniel and David all played in the concert!  We had fun playing the "Batman Theme" for our Grand Finale!  We also were able to introduce our new orchestra director for next year, Ms. Stevie Sandven.

This new orchestra program has been a big part of our family for the past 4 years.  As we pass it over to the Fayetteville Public School District it will be a change for all of us but a great opportunity for the program to really grow!!!
Here is a link to more pictures from our concert and dress rehearsal:
