There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

DECEMBER 24, 2014 -- CHRISTMAS EVE

CHRISTMAS EVE
December 24, 2014

We celebrate Benjamin's birthday all morning, then after lunchtime we start celebrating Christmas Eve.  So, after the kids got home from school, we went out to do little bit of the remaining sibling gift shopping, we ordered up cinnamon bread and then went to buy street food and carol on the street!  It was a fun evening and a unique Christmas Eve.

The kids are off to school on Christmas Eve!
They get to wear their PJs today!

We went to the bread shop in the alley and I took Cinnamon Roll filling with me and asked if they could put it in their bread.  They let me come into their shop and we put the filling in the bread.  They cooked it for me and we came back to pick it up.  It worked out well!!!  I as in heaven back in that shop with the Chinese folks in our neighborhood.
