We
had to be up early and gone by 5:30am to take our ride to the airport to catch
our 7:50am flight to Bangkok. Everyone
had an assignment to help. Kelli and
Bethany made toast as we helped younger kids get ready and packed up.
We arrived in Bangkok at 9:10am and we had arranged a ride from the airport to our hostel, The Orchid Hostel. The hostel was great. The manager told us where we could walk to find dinner. We found a mall that had a canteen (cafeteria type place) down in the basement. We were able to find lots of food options for not much money. The best deal of all were the fresh fruit smoothies that were only about $1 each!! We had those at least once a day if not twice! We ate almost all our meals at this canteen and we would tell the kids how much money they got to spend and they could go find what they wanted. It worked out well.
We walked around a bit on our way back to the hostel and then we just relaxed and hung out for the evening. We were all tired!
