There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

FEBRUARY 5, 2015 -- FEBRUARY FLIGHT DAY #11

PENANG DAY #6
FEBRUARY 5, 2015

Today we decided to take it a little slow.  The boys came to the apartment and we went swimming in the morning and enjoyed the pool and the nice weather.  In the afternoon, some of us stayed and took naps while others went and found a free “hop on bus” that has a route through part of the city and they visited Fort Cornwallis, the Clan Jetties.  After they returned, we had found “Master Chef Junior” on the TV and ALL of us were enthralled and loved watching these kids cook.  One of the junior chefs was just 8 years old!  We told Mason we better get him cooking!  He says he wants to first learn to make scrambled eggs. J  When our show was over, we went to eat and found the sweet rice packets on the street.  Dad then took the little boys get Happy Meals at McDonald’s while we ordered our favorites at the Indian restaurant.  Another good day!  This was our last day in Penang.  We have enjoyed our time here and it has been a great visit!
