There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

FEBRUARY 20, 2015 -- FEBRUARY FLIGHT DAY #26

TRAVEL HONG KONG TO BEIJING
FEBRUARY 20, 2015

Today was another travel day.  We got up and packed and ate Sausage McMuffins for breakfast the we were off to the airport to catch our 1:20 flight.

When Dad checked us in for our flight, we found out that our flight was delayed 2 hours.  Because of the delay, they each one of us a voucher for lunch at the airport.  The voucher was equivalent to about $10 USD.  You can actually get quite a bit of food and the kids all had fun spending away their money!!!  They had to spend it all in one spot or it was gone -- no change was given.  The kids had more food than they could eat and they ordered anything they wanted. It was actually quite fun.

We arrived in Beijing and it was sort of weird to feel like we were back “home.”  We were on familiar ground.  Amy had stayed at our hostel in December when she, Melissa and Stephanie came to Beijing.  Amy guided us to the hostel and all was well.  After we got settled in, we went out and found a restaurant.  We hit dinner rush and had a hard time finding a restaurant that wasn’t totally overcrowded.  We finally found one and it was really good food.
We arrived in Beijing and looking for our hostel
