MARCH 2-10, 2015
Just a few short days after our return to Suzhou, Rachel was in lots of pain and came home from school early. By evening the pain had not subsided and we took her to the doctor. She was admitted to the Kowloon hospital that night and had surgery the next morning. Poor Rachel endured a full 24 hours of pain before they finally did surgery and they wouldn't give her any pain medicine. The Chinese doctor's philosophy is that there she was too young and there are too many side effects. It was a challenge for Rachel and all of us, but thanks to many blessings from the Lord we made it. The Lord provided people to serve us such as Sam and Amy Curtis, Okesons, Peiling, and others. We are so blessed that Rachel has recovered.
