There is a quote: "LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORMS TO PASS.... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN."
With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.
They exist daily -- we just need to make sure we do not miss them!! This blog is to remind us of these miracles and joys!

FEBRUARY 24 , 2015 -- FEBRUARY FLIGHT DAY #30

TRAVEL BEIJING TO XIAN
FEBRUARY 24, 2015

This morning we had time to go to Tian'an men Square and to see Mao Zedong's Mausoleum.  There were tons of people but Dad and everyone else got in line and I stood watch with all the backpacks.  Backpacks weren't allowed inside and I had been there before, so I volunteered to be the keeper of the stuff.  I enjoyed watching people but then moved because I didn't enjoy watching the people walk by and blow their nose into the large "rubbish bin" that was near me.  Soon, they all came back and had seen the preserved Mao Zedong.  We never did go into the Forbidden City.  It was just too crowded.

We went back to the hostel to pick up our luggage, but we stopped off at a restaurant to have some lunch.  We ate tons of food -- as you see here the kids have full bellies!!!
