With 12 children and 5 adopted from Russia, we have had challenges and trials along with our joys. We have decided that we must
learn how to "dance in the rain." We must notice and acknowledge the joys and miracles in our lives.

FEBRUARY 21, 2015 -- FEBRUARY FLIGHT DAY #27

BEIJING DAY #1
FEBRUARY 21, 2015

 The family was off for adventure today with plans to see Tian'an men Square  and Forbidden City but it was so, so crowded due to Chinese New Year.  They changed plans and decided to save the Forbidden City for Monday when the holiday is past.  Also, Mao Zedong's mausoleum isn't open until next week so that will work better.  The family went to Temple of Heaven and had a good day. Mason and I stayed at the hostel and rested.  It was rainy/snowy and quite cold but they all had a good time and had a good snowball fight!
